Reserve Bank of India Services Board recruitment 2017 proposes to receive the application from applicants in Online Mode. Eligible candidates can submit their application to Reserve Bank of India Services Board before 11/08/2017

Qualification: -    LLB, LLM

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years; and Post Graduate Degree in Law from a recognized university. 
Desirable: Experience in Taxation laws, International laws, laws relating to Banking, Payment Systems, Forex and Cyber / IT Laws. 
Pay Scale: The compensation package (including the market value of housing) will be equal to Cost-to Company(CTC) band equivalent to Grade ‘F’ Officers in the Bank as revised from time to time (Presently Rupees 53.43 lakh per annum subject to tax). 
Age (As on 01/07/2017): Should be between 45 years and 55 years. 
Experience: : At least ‘fifteen years’ experience as an Advocate in a High Court / the Supreme Court or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a large bank/financial institution /statutory corporation or in the Legal Department of Central/State Government or an associate partner etc. in a reputed Consultancy firm providing legal advice 
How To Apply?
Candidates are required to apply only online using the website No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Instructions for filling up online applications are available at Appendix –I which is available on the Bank’s website The applicants are advised to submit only single application; however, if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher Registration ID (RID) is complete in all respects like applicants’ details, photograph, signature, fee etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the last completed applications with higher RID shall be entertained by the Board and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
All candidates, whether already in Government Service, Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organizations or in private employment should submit their applications direct to the Board. Persons already in Government Service, whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as work charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises are, however, required to submit an undertaking in the Online application that they have informed in writing to their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination. Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the Board withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the interview, their application will be liable to be rejected/candidature will be liable to be canceled. At the time of joining, the recommended candidates will have to bring proper discharge certificates from their PSU/Government/Quasi –Government employer.

Selection Process:-
Legal Consultants in Grade ‘F’ – Selection will be through interview only. A preliminary screening of the applications will be done by the Screening Committee, if necessary, for making a short-list of eligible candidates to be called for the interview/s.
Assistant / Deputy Legal Adviser in Grade ‘C/D’(On Contract Basis) –  Selection will be through interview only. A preliminary screening of the applications will be done by the Screening Committee, if necessary, for making a short-list of eligible candidates to be called for the interview/s. Based on the qualifications, experience etc. of the candidates, the Board may offer a position equivalent to either Grade ‘C’ or Grade ‘D’ officer in the Bank (in CTC equivalent). 
Nationality: a candidate must be either:—  a citizen of India, or  a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or  a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or  a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India
Applications without the prescribed Fee / Intimation Charges shall be summarily rejected.
Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection
Fee / Intimation Charges are required to be paid only in the manner prescribed in this advertisement 
Board does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of or for any other reason beyond the control of the Board.
The posts are also open to the employees of RBI (Staff Candidates) who satisfy the eligibility criteria separately stipulated by the Bank vide their circular CO. HRMD.No.G-75/ 5599/ 05.01.01/ 2013-2014 dated December 2013 and who apply Online within the closing date. Their status as staff candidate will be verified at the time of interview.
Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to their selection/recruitment shall be considered as disqualification
In all matters regarding eligibility, interviews, assessment, prescribing minimum qualifying standards in an interview, in relation to a number of vacancies and communication of result, the Board‘s decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
